The IRS will allow you a tax deduction for the room, a portion of your utility bills, and any equipment you use for your business can be depreciated over a several year period. The only catch is this room is supposed to be used only for business. If you were to get an unexpected visit from the IRS they might want to see the room where you do your business. 4. Spend more time with your family. In many work from home jobs you will be able to choose the hours you wish to work and if you have your own home business, you still get to pick your own hours! This gives you additional time you can spend with the kids or more time for family outings.
I think this is my favorite part about working from home! I work when I feel like it and can keep up with my busy family!
5. You can give yourself a raise any time you want…. This is soooo turn! if you have your own home business, to give yourself a raise, all you have to do is dedicate more time to your business!
