It has been some time since I have posted any Favorite Five’s…So today I want to share with you all 5 of my favorite home business motivational books.

Every book I have ever read has inspired me and each has helped me develop my business in one way or another….

Ultimate Guide to Google AdWords- This is a great book for anyone considering running adwords to drive website traffic. It explains how to get lowest bid prices and search engine optimization techniques. 304 pages explain how anyone can use Google AdWords for the best prices and how to access millions of online searchers. This Google AdWords book is an excellent read for a Google AdWords newbie!

Your First Year in Network Marketing- This book is excellent for anyone involved in direct sales or network marketing. This was recommended to me by a mentor in 2001 and was a great starting point as I entered the world of network marketing. The book teaches how to remain focused on your business (even in hard times), deal with rejection, and how to stay enthusiastic about your business.

Network Your Way to Millions- Even though I am not making millions, I can truly say this is one of the most valuable network marketing book on the market! Authored by Russell Paley, a well known national speaker, mentor, trainer and coach. The book sold thousands of copies the first month is was available in 1999, which goes to show how anticipated the book release was! This networking book is worth every penny!

Awakening the Entrepreneur Within- Written by Michael’s Dream, with a mission to inspire people to dream by awakening the entrepreneur within them. With a mission to create a turnkey system for awakening the entrepreneur within every person who wishes to go into business for themselves, while providing them with the support for doing it. This book is highly motivational! If you need a good pick me up, this is an excellent book for any Entrepreneur!

Mommy Millionaire- Real-world advice, secrets and lessons on how to make a million dollars from a mom who turned her kitchen table idea into a successful business while keeping her family and kids Job #1. Crammed with detailed information designed to simplify the fundamentals of starting and running your own business, Mommy Millionaire is full of proven strategies for success, revealing rare insights and exclusive insider secrets nobody else will tell you about what it really takes to make a million dollars from your own home.

Mommy Millionaire takes us on the step-by-step journey of Kim Lavine as she took a simple idea she came up with at her kitchen table into a million dollar business.

Kim Lavine’s tale of how she took a simple idea for a cushion and turned it into millions of dollars is quite engaging. It’s full of business tips, and it’s a great guide for any mom wanting to learn more about starting her own business, but does not read like a normal business book. It’s a light read and never boring. You’ll enjoy following every twist and turn in the road, as you read of Kim’s struggles to bring her Wuvit’s to market.

Her advice for getting on QVC, and scoring funding from Angel Investors alone is worth the price of the book. She illustrates in detail tactics you can only know if you’ve been through the process.

Mommy Millionaire is not so much a how to book, as it is a journal of Kim’s challenges and success as she strives to build her now thriving empire of ever expanding products. It was very much like listening to a girlfriend explain her journey, while offering plenty of honest advice along the way. Even for moms not in business or looking to be in business, it’s a wonderful story of the power of a mom’s desire to succeed. A great read.
