Help Me Select The New Colors
I told you all last week we were working on a new logo for the blog and we would also be re-designing the blog to go with our new logo. Well, I have run into a stump…
You see, I am trying to select a color scheme that will appeal to everyone, women and men. Since many of our readers are men, I can not go with a girly look. I am not a corporate kinda gal, so I do not want the norm either. I kept getting drawn to either very bright color schemes or earth tone type of colors.
So, I decided I would let all of you vote for the new scheme! I have narrowed down some of my favorite color schemes down to 9. I have opened a new poll and would love for you to vote on your favorite color scheme. The poll will be open for 24 hours. The color scheme with the most votes will be the new scheme of our site and our logo colors will match!

#6 compliments each other very well and easy on the eye. Some of the other colors argue with each other which doesn’t work well when you want someone to stop and browse.

I like #9 BUT I only like the last 3 colors to the right, the gold, olive and mauve..

Hi Tara, My first choice is #1 and second choice is #9. This is a real tough one, can’t wait to see the final product.

I prefer #4 - just not sure how I would use the blue. Guess just as an accent color (as background color) to shade links or certain text.

Well, I would use 3 base colors and then accent colors, if a color palette is selected with several colors.

I am a big fan of the color teal. I picked number 3. I am looking forward to see what you change your color scheme to.

I selected #1 for one simple reason .. keep it simple (for the men) ,, although, if you are going for a redesign - I would keep the existing color scheme and just redesign the blog.
If you are really intent on a totally new look and makeover, #1 is still my choice because I like purple.

I like #6. The colors are easy on the eyes, professional in tones, and attractive. I find them to be up beat and not mundane. Just MO. Good luck!!

I missed the vote, but I like #9 all deep earthy colors, I like 1 as the others but I like 9 more because there are more colors.

I was a big fan of 9 too! Actually that was my first choice in colors! But, I figured if I let people vote on the colors, I had to be ready to use what ever colors got the most votes.
