What motivates you?
This article has been guest blogged by Tamal Anwar who is a motivator and a networker from The blog about success
Before I ask this question, lets find out what is motivation? Motivations are not more than some nice words which are interesting to hear. You have read articles on books, sites, blogs(even some on my blog), bought cd’s and mp3’s about motivations, paid money to buy tickets to see an expert motivator to give you a motivational speech, paid visits to personal counselor and coaches just to get some motivations.
The real fact is, motivational speeches are great to enjoy, but harder to apply. I think motivations are just the things which pushes us. Pushes us to do something or take an action. Everything is there next to you, you just have to make your decision and work to get it. This is why motivation is needed. How many times you have seen/ heard a story of success and get inspired to do it? It is motivation and it’s the thing which pushes our life wheel to roll. What motivates you is not important, how you get it, is more important.
You don’t need a coach
After reading this, you motivators may become angry with me, I apologize to you if I misbehave with you all.
You don’t need a coach/ motivator because you are your own motivator. You know about yourself and you can take your own decision. There is only one person in the world who can change you and that is you. Your coach will tell you to think positive, work with a plan, think different but it’s you who will make it possible. Be your own boss, and take control of your life and you will no longer need any motivations.
Learn from your surroundings
It is a great way to get motivations. I always see things and meet people and get motivations. I get motivations by listening to stories, watching movies and get inspired from others. Nature is your teacher. Take a break and go outside of your office and see things. Even a very much common thing could inspire you and lead you to a new journey of success.
Look for new things
Its great to learn new things and look for them. Who knows, it could bring a new concept. Meet new people, go to new places, try new things and you will be motivated with the ideas. If you want to have true success, then you got to have new innovations. Be creative, innovative and you will never need motivations again. Be a motivator and let others be one too.
- What really motivates you?
- Why you have to be your own boss?
- Did I missed any point’s?
From THE WAHM Tara- My personal motivation has always been the idea I need to work for myself. As a mother of 4 I want to raise my kids and not have someone else do it. That has kept me highly motivated to work my tail off to make good money from home. I admit, I am also money driven, when my company offers sales I run with it. That always motivates me to promote promote and promote.

Great blog post! Sometimes we do need to remind ourselves why we got into home based business in the first place. The most obvious answer is of course to be around the little ones you love, and from there the answers are endless! If you have the ambition and the desire to make it happen, it will happen!
Now, I’m an official Microsoft ambassador and right now we’re really trying to scale up our connections with influential bloggers like yourself. I’d love to share with you some of the stuff we’ve been doing in the last couple months to help women entrepreneurs; we’re really committed to providing all the necessary resources to help women start, grow and expand their business.
We just wrapped up a women’s entrepreneurial tour across the US called “Vision To Venture;” the response and turn-out was great!
I’d really love your take on these offerings we have right now; I would have contacted you via email but I didn’t know which was the best way to reach you.
Thank you so much, I hope I didn’t overstep my bounds by directly contacting you. Definitely get back to me if I’ve piqued your interest– I’d love to share more info with you.
Best,
Kimberly
