Rebate Processing Home Job Scam
Am I the only one who keeps getting emails about processing rebates at home? I get at least 5-10 emails a day telling me I can work at home processing rebates!
Now, their ad’s are very clever, as they make it sound like the perfect at home job for anyone. I mean who does not want to work at home and make EASY money? Everyone! That’s the problem, and to many people are falling for this scam.
They are now calling me on the phone! This week alone, I have had 2 calls on my office line and 2 on my cell phone. All from automated dialing systems with a message for me about how I can work at home processing government rebates.
Do I look stupid? Do they think they can fool me? I sure hope not, but in all honesty it is starting to piss me off. When they call you have to listen to their stupid 3 minute long message just to find out there is no way to request you be removed from their list! Well, when I think about it now, why would there be? It is a scam, so why would I be able to opt out of their calling system? I Can’t!
I blocked the number where the calls were coming from and guess what? Today I got another one from a different number, this time after I listened to the message I was able to connect with an operator.
So I pressed 1 to talk to a rep. I let the man give me his spill. For just $75 he would mail me the info I needed to obtain a job at home processing rebates. $75? Thats nuts!
I thought I would do some math on this…
- If they get just 100 people a day to pay them $75 that is $7500!
- If they get 200 people a day to pay them $75 is $15,000!
I am sure that getting 200 people a day who want to work from home that are willing to pay the $75 is no problem, when you call around the entire country.
These scammers are making millions!
Aside from that scam, there are hundreds of online rebate processing jobs, suck as Rebateprocessorjobs.com
This company targets people who are searching for online jobs or ways to earn money from home. The company counts on people being desperate for a job at home. They claim that you can make a lot of money by processing rebates at home, and it leads you to believe that this is a job. It is NOT an at home job!
- rebateprocessorjobs.com
- processathome.com
- internetprofithouse.com
- myrebateprocessor.com
All are SCAMS. They lead you to believe you will work at home and process rebates, that are not even rebates! You pay them money, and they make you none! The sales pages are full of BS that sounds amazing! The promises of big checks are false, and the testimonials are bogus.
If you have been contacting by anyone about rebate processing jobs don’t waste your hard earned money on their so called programs! There are no legit honest rebate processing jobs online that will pay any decent amount of money.
Yeah you may be able to make a few bucks, but for 40 hours of work is it worth it?
A few signs it is a scam…
- You never have to pay for a JOB. There may be some costs involved with a home business, but never a JOB.
- Promises of large amounts of money. I do not care how good it sounds, run the other direction.
- If they call you on the phone, it is normally a scam! Companies just do not pick up the phone calling across the USA looking to hand out jobs.
- Unsolicited emails are never legit! Never sign up for a random program that was sent to your email address.
- If a website shows pictures of bags of money, Ferarri cars, diamonds, ect., 99% of the time it is a scam. These photos are used to get your attention and make you want to jump right in.
- If it sounds to easy, it probably is. There is no way to make money that will come easy!
If you have fallen for one of these rebate processing job scams, just hope you paid for the program with your credit card. If you did, you may be able to re-coop your investment. Contact your credit card issuer and see if they can help.
If you used paypal, you are out of luck. Paypal does not cover any non-tangible good, so you will have no way to get your money back.
Thoughts Aside: According to the new debt collection law, this is possible. A loan if borrowed as payday loans, can be converted into car loans or even personal loans, if both the parties agree.

A timely reminder on scams…
These scams are like chain letters and the only way you can make money is to ask push the same scam to others. Even if you complete the job for them, they can have hundred excuses not to pay you.
