Squidoo For Extra Online Income

Most Squidoo Lensmasters will tel you, that Squidoo rocks. It can be used as an excellent online tool for marketing yourself. The great thing about it is you can use Squidoo to promote any product or service. It can be your personal made products or affiliate products. You can also earn an additional income from Squidoo every month.
The Squidoo community is great and Google seems to love Squidoo. Normally I am seeing traffic to my lens within 48 hours of launching a new lens.
Lets take a look at one of my most popular Squidoo Lens. My Green Living lens was actually built to be used as a tool to promote Mr. V’s Shaklee business. If you take a look at my lens you can see I have a great deal of information about “green living”. A topic that is key to the type of people we wanted to target for our products.
On that lens I not only promote the products I also promote other affiliates on there as well. If someone is not interestedin the products I have displayed, thety may be interested in something from a similar type of company or similar green product. Instead of having a visitors leave the lens I would rather send them to an affiliate in hopes to earn commissions for any purchases they make.
That lens is our most popular lens for sure. We update it often, promote it, and use every tool we know of to get that lens out there out of all 15 lens we have.
I try to make one or two new lens a month or different topics I am interested in. Some I use to promote products for a compoany Mr. V works for and others affiliate only.

What kind of income are you seeing with Squidoo lenses, and how are your promoted products selling?

Maria;
Most of our lenses generate around $20 a month from Squidoo. My money from Squidoo is coming from affiliates I am running and the products we promote.
Example- One website I refer to on Squidoo has NOT been promoted any where at all, I actually have a no index tag on the website, as we were using it as a test site to see exactly how well we could work Squidoo. We set up a replicated website so we could get exact numbers when comparing traffic. Each month we have had at least $1200 in sales on just that one website and it is going up every month.
WE also set up a 2nd account with an affiliate manager so, we would be able to track back all sales or commissions to Squidoo. The lens I have been running them on has been generating $300 or so a month. Not bad for a lens that has been live for just a few months.
Our other lens are getting to where Squidoo is becoming a huge refer for traffic as well.
Each month I have noticed an increase in payment directly from Squidoo and our programs we are running.
