Ok, I have decided to take Saturdays off from blogging. Some times I need to clear my mind of business and just hang out with the kids, not even think about money or business at all, and blog hop in the evenings.

Blog Hop you say? What in the world is blog hopping? The best way to describe this is a virtual night out. But instead of hopping from bar to bar with our friends, getting buzzed, getting feely and talking cheeky, we’re hoppin each others’ blogs. I mean come on now, how many moms and dads really get to get out any more any way? Well I know Mr. V and I do not with four kids, no way.

What’s the point? To have a good time, get to know other bloggers whose real-word weekend lives are just as uneventful as yours and build each others’ ranking and traffic through comments.

As parents, we no longer have a night life. Sure, a birthday bash here, a bachelor party there, but all in all, you can pretty much set your watch to the fact that we’re home on weekend nights. We’re also bloggers. Bloggers live and die by the mighty comment. The Weekend Blog Hoppers takes both factors into account and gives parent bloggers a reason to look forward to Friday and Saturday nights (after the kids are in bed).
