Improve Adsense Earnings- Adsense Tips
If webmasters want to monetize their websites, a great way to do it is through Adsense. Point blank Adsense is making many webmasters wealthy. Even the ones who own stores who run google ad’s are seeing great success. If you have a website and are using Google Adsense, but not seeing good results you may be using the ads wrong.
Here are some excellent tips by some of the top earning Google affiliates.
1. Do you have google displaying ad’s in the footer area of your website? If so, remove the Adsense from the bottom pages of your site and put them along the top. To really take advantage of Google Adsense, you will want to put them in place’s where people can see them quickly. Adsense locations are very important for maximum click through rates.
The famous AdSense “heatmap” released by Google in answer to AdSense publishers’ questions about where they should place their ads. Ads in the darker colored areas generally do better than ads in the lighter-colored areas.
By looking at this “heatmap” the tradition place webmasters place the Google Ad’s is not as “hot” of an area compared to the left side. Google actually places the ads on the right side on their own search results.
Since all websites are formatted differently, you may need to play around with your ad placement to find the best areas for your particular website.
2. Concentrate on one format of Adsense ad’s. The one format’s that works well for the most have been the Large Rectangle 336X280, 300×250 inline rectangle and the 160×600 wide skyscraper. This same format has the tendency to result in higher click-through rates.
In my own personal experience with Adsense, the 160×600 has worked very well with my websites.
3. Create custom palettes for your ads. Choose color’s that will go well with the background of your site. If your site has a white background, try to use white as the color of your ad border and background. To have the most success you want the colors to make the Adsense look like it is part of the web pages. So, if you use purple links all over, make sure your Adsense links are purple as well. When the links look like they are a part of your website it will result in more clicks from people visiting.
4. Maintain links to relevant websites. If you think some sites are better off than the others, put your ads there and try to maintaining and managing them. If there is already lots of Adsense put into that certain site, put yours on top of all of them. That way visitor’s will see your ads first upon browsing into that site.
5. Try to automate the insertion of your Adsense code into the webpages using SSI (server side included). This is for advanced webmasters! This tip is a time saver especially for those who are using automatic page generators to generate pages on their website. If you are a blogger adding Adsense to your website you may find that using an ad widget will help place codes automatically in your posts.
If you want an expert’s opinion on Adsense I’d recommend the Joel Comm’s books What Google Never Told You About Making Money with Adsense. The E-Book author earns $15,000 per month from Adsense and has some amazing tips for making more money with Google.

I see what I am doing wrong with AdSense now! All of my ad
’s are in the wrong places and I have never used custom palettes to make my AdSense ads match my site.
Thank you for the great tips, I really appreciate them.
